A feed once in spring and again in summer won’t make them grow too fast but it will keep them healthy.
They’re all slow drinkers, so just give them some water when their soil has dried out.
Most light conditions
They all manage in low to medium light, except for Spike. He likes as much sun as you can offer.
Your plants will grow, of course, but they won’t outgrow their current pots for quite a few years, if ever.

About the slow-growing set
It’s usually a brilliant thing when plants grow quickly. It’s a sign they’re really happy. Sometimes, though, you want a plant to fit a specific spot and not to get any bigger. All these plants are really slow-growing, so you won’t have to worry about them outgrowing their space.
The set without pots includes:
Susie - Her long, slender leaves earned her the common name snake plant. She has a really stylish sculptural shape that works in any interior. She hardly ever needs watering and she’ll work with whatever light you have, from shade to sunshine.
Spike – This cactus couldn’t be more straightforward to look after. He’ll take as much sun as you can give him and only needs water when his soil is totally dry. He’s prickly, so keep him away from pets and children.
Mikey – Like Susie, he’s a snake plant, just with much smaller leaves. He needs exactly the same care as Susie, i.e. almost none at all. You can leave him without water for weeks and he won’t care.
Val – Val the sweetheart plant may be the slowest-growing plant you’ll find. She is made up of one single leaf and she’s very unlikely to ever get any bigger. She’ll just stay her cute little heart-shaped self indefinitely.
Otto – This hoya will grow a bit faster than the others, but his stems will just gradually become as long as you allow them. If you prefer to keep them short just snip them to the length you want. He won’t mind.
The set with pots also includes:
Clay pots - We love the beautiful texture of these fibreclay pots. The contemporary shape and natural material will fit into any home.
