Rowan won't thank you for watering him too much. Just give him a drink when the top inch of his soil feels dry.
Ming aralia like a lot of bright, but not direct, light. A shielded position near a window in a south-facing room would be ideal.
He may not like his soil wet but he loves a bit of humidity. Mist him regularly or let him live in a bright bathroom.

If you don't have huge amounts of space but like large plants, Rowan the ming aralia is the boy for you. He grows tall and compact, so you get a lot of leafiness without a lot of spreading.
A native of Polynesia, he has fine, delicate looking leaves but don't let his elegant appearance fool you. He's made of sturdy stuff and takes very little looking after.
