  • You won’t find a variegated Pothos in the wild. In fact, it’s very hard to come by anywhere. This extraordinary plant is the result of some very careful cultivation. It’s so rare and so prized that plants have been known to exchange hands for thousands of pounds.

Our limited edition epipremnum albo is a great plant if you love the rare and unusual but want something easy to care for. Like regular pothos plants, it’s a fast-growing climber in the right conditions, except with show stopping variegation and split leaves. Make sure your epipremnum albo gets enough light - the more variegation (the white patches on its leaves) your plant has, the more light it will need. This is because only the green parts of the plant absorb light and produce energy.

The regular versions are native to Australia, Asia and Papua New Guinea, however you are extremely unlikely to find Elsa in the wild. Pothos are found naturally climbing in the trees, so ours comes with a sturdy moss pole to give it a bit of extra physical (not emotional) support. To mimic its natural environment and keep your plant healthy, this pothos will appreciate regular misting. If you’re forgetful when it comes to watering, this plant won’t mind. Try to water yours when the top two inches of soil feel dry.

This is a plant that gives impressive results with very little work from you.

    Did you know?

Using a moss pole will help your plant grow large, split leaves as it mimics the plant’s natural environment.
