  • Chinese Money plants are native to the Yunnan and Sichuan provinces of Southern China, and were first brought to the UK in 1906. Since then it’s become a much-loved houseplant. It’s very easy to care for and just as easy to propagate – it’s even been given the nickname ‘Pass it on plant’, because people like to share cuttings with their friends.

A great option for beginners or hands-off plant parents, Chinese Money plants are really easy going. They need very little attention – simply pop it in a bright spot with lots of light, and water it once its soil has run completely dry. If you’re feeling generous, give it a feed with liquid fertiliser (diluted to half the strength) in spring and summer to help it grow.

This bundle includes our much-loved Ceramic glazed pot in Blue. It’s hand-moulded and finished with a special glaze that crackles as it’s fired, leaving it with a fine, cracked effect (don’t worry, it’s surface detail and doesn’t impact the structure of the pot). When watering your plants, always remove them from the decorative pot first and allow any excess water to drain completely before putting the plant back in the pot. Due to the nature of the material, excess water may escape.
