Behind the scenes of our TV advert
Your favourite plants are on the telly

You may have spotted a few of your favourite houseplants on the small screen lately, as the stars of our first-ever television advert. To capture their leaves from their best angles, the Patch team set up shop in a house in south-east London, with a crew of videographers, actors and creatives – and, of course, plenty of plants.
The advert gives a snapshot into modern city living and the many quirks that come with it, from heatwaves to cold spells, house parties to evenings nodding off on the sofa. Our easy-going plants, delivered straight to your door, provide one less thing to worry about in the hustle and bustle of city life.

The advert came to life through a series of vignettes shot throughout the home. From Susie the Snake plant, who keeps her cool during a heatwave, to Penny the Chinese Money plant who won’t mind being forgotten about, our laidback leaves showed how they bring life to homes without the hassle.
