Zey is made of tough stuff. He’s a Sanseviera zeylanica, and is a member of the Snake plant family. He’s native to Africa, where he thrives in very dry conditions. This means that, as a houseplant, he’s extremely simple to take care of, as he needs very little watering. There’s a reason we’ve named him one of our (almost) Unkillables.
For a desktop companion or bookcase buddy, Zey can’t be beaten. He’ll tolerate almost any light condition (just not total darkness), and only needs watering when his soil has completely dried – every few weeks, even less in winter. Other than that, he’d prefer to be left alone. The dream office plant? He might just be it.

Please note, due to the porous nature of the Clay pot material, excess water may escape. To protect your surfaces, we recommend adding an internal saucer for worry-free watering.
