• About Snake plants

  You’d be hard pushed to find a plant that’s easier to take care of than Susie. She’s a member of the Snake plant family, the ultimate (almost) unkillable that thrives on neglect. She makes for an excellent desktop companion or addition to a shelving unit, bringing greenery with little effort.

  When it comes to caring for Susie, less is always more. Give her a drink every few weeks when her soil has completely dried and, if you’re feeling generous, add some liquid fertiliser to your watering can once a month in spring and summer. As for light? She’s very easy going, and will tolerate anything from shade to bright sunshine. She will still need some light to survive, so windowless rooms won’t work for her.
