• About Boston ferns

  Usually found in the shady corners of swamps and forests in South and central America, the West Indies and Africa, it’s little wonder Boston ferns like dark, hot and humid conditions. To remind Bertie of home, water him regularly – when the top inch of soil feels dry – and place him in a steamy spot, such as a kitchen or bathroom. Alternatively, group him with other plants to create a little humid microclimate. His delicate fronds are really fun, but please try to avoid touching them – he doesn’t like it, and they may end up turning brown.
