    • Pippa & Lani like Light

Pippa is pretty relaxed and won’t mind a little shade, though she’ll flower more in a brighter spot. Lani prefers bright, indirect light.

    • Pippa & Lani like Watering

Pippa needs watering when the top two inches of soil feel dry. Lani needs watering more regularly, especially in spring and summer.

    • Pippa & Lani like Humidity

Like most tropical plants, Lani and Pippa are all about humidity. Place them in a bathroom or kitchen, or group them with other plants to create a mini microclimate.

  • If it’s about time you got your flowers, or you know someone deserving of beautiful blooms, this set is just the ticket. Starring Pippa the Peace lily and Lani the Bamboo orchid, paired perfectly with our deep blue Ceramic Glaze pots, this duo makes for a striking addition to any plant display.

Though they’re both flowering plants who hail from tropical climates, they have different levels of care. Pippa is one of our (almost) Unkillables, and so naturally needs less attention. She’ll usually bounce back from a missed watering, and will be happy in most light conditions (though she’ll flower more in brighter light).

Lani is a little fussier. Dendrobium need daytime temps between 18-25 degrees celsius and night time temps above 10 degrees in order to put on their best display. Pop her somewhere warm and water her with room temperature rain water if possible. A dose of orchid feed with every third watering throughout the growing season will give her everything she needs to put on a floral display year after year. Once she’s finished flowering, keep her in a cool spot and don’t water her again until you see new buds forming in early spring.

When watering your plants, always remove them from the decorative pot first and allow any excess water to drain completely before putting the plant back in the pot.
