Picture dainty blooms bobbing the breeze on a sunny day and create your cottage garden of dreams with this collection of countryside favourites. Planting these flowers will bring romantic colour to any outdoor space in spring.
To grow your flowers, plant the bulbs between September and January. You can plant your bulbs straight into borders and beds, or pop them in a nursery pot or decorative pot with drainage holes. When it comes to depth and space, each type of bulb has different planting needs to check the instructions on the bulb pack.
Start feeding your plants with a liquid fertiliser as soon as shoots appear. Flowers will appear in spring. Deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers and stop feeding your plant once the foliage starts to die down at the end of the season. These plants will die back, but keep your eyes peeled - they’ll be back again next year in spring.
