She’s easy when it comes to light, managing in most conditions, though she’ll flower more in a brighter spot.

    • Humidity

She loves humidity. If your bathroom gets lots of light, pop her in there. Or mist her every few days to keep her happy.

  • Despite hailing from the rainforests of central and South America, this tropical Peace lily has adapted well to the UK, which is great news for us plant fans. With luscious foliage and elegant white flowers, she’s a real beauty, and – best of all – she’s relatively easy to look after. There’s a reason she’s one of our most popular houseplants.

The best way to care for your Peace lily is to try and remind it of home. Humidity is key here – place it in a steamy room, such as a bathroom or kitchen, or group it with other plants to create a humid microclimate. Its other needs are modest. Water it when the top two inches of soil feel dry (if the leaves look wilted, it’s time for a drink) and place it in a spot with indirect light.

This set includes our classic Rope basket, a tactile design that works with any home. When watering your plants, always remove them from the decorative pot first and allow any excess water to drain completely before putting the plant back in the pot.
