  • Peace lilies are one of the most popular houseplants, and we can certainly see why. With her elegant white flowers and luscious leaves, Pippa is a real beauty. She’s also really easy to look after, which makes her a great option for beginners or hands-off plant parents.

In the wild, you’ll find her growing in the tropical rainforests of central and South America, where she loves the warm, humid climate. It’s a bit different here in the UK, but she’s adapted well and will live quite happily in your home with the right care. The main thing to remember when looking after Pippa is that she loves humidity – the steamier, the better. Place her in a bathroom or kitchen, or group her with your other plants to create a microclimate. Otherwise, she’s pretty easy to look after. Just water her when the top two inches of her soil feel dry (if her leaves look wilted, it’s time for a drink) and place her in a spot with indirect light.

We’ve paired Pippa with our bestselling black Bubble pot, which has wavy edges and a smooth glossy finish.

When watering your plants, always remove them from the decorative pot first and allow any excess water to drain completely before putting the plant back in the pot. Due to the nature of the material, excess water may escape.
