Support Omega this September
Here at Patch, we’re big believers in plants against loneliness, which is why we’re delighted to be supporting Omega this September. A registered charity dedicated to reducing social isolation and loneliness, Omega offers free telephone and pen pal befriending services to support those dealing with feelings of isolation. Throughout September, we’ll be donating £1 to the charity for every sale of our 30-40cm Pippa the Peace Lily.
About Omega
Omega was originally founded as an end-of-life care charity in 2007. Having found that many people who approached Omega were struggling with feelings of loneliness, the charity has refocused over the years to provide support and services that strive to end social isolation. Through Chatterbox, the charity’s free telephone befriending service, and Letterbox, its free pen pal befriending service, Omega helps to boost emotional wellbeing and reduce loneliness for adults in need across the UK.
How you can help
There are lots of ways you can support Omega’s important work, from donations made directly to the charity, to volunteering for its vital Chatterbox and Letterbox services. Every donation helps the charity reach people in need, and offer them support when they need it most.
