He likes a not-too-sunny, not-too-shady spot. Somewhere close to a window but not in direct sun would be ideal.
He prefers his soil to stay lightly moist, so give him a drink whenever the top two inches of soil feel dry.
He’ll love you very much if you give him a dose of liquid fertiliser once per month in spring and summer.

The narrow leafed fig is a relative of the ever popular fiddle leaf fig, but easier to care for. It grows tall and narrow with lots of long, glossy leaves. To make it even lovelier, new leaves emerge with a pinkish tinge, before turning green.
It’s a native of South-East Asia, where it grows in tropical forests. As a houseplant, it’s quite easygoing. It likes a fairly bright spot and regular watering (it doesn’t like to dry out), but that’s about it. It’s not that fussed about humidity, so a mist every week or so should be enough. Unlike the fiddle leaf fig, it’s not especially sensitive to being moved or changes in temperature.
If it’s ever unhappy it will let you know by dropping leaves. Lots of leaves falling are usually a sign of too little light or improper watering. Adjust those and it should quickly get back on track.
