We’re supporting Scottish Action for Mental Health
We’re no strangers to the positive power of plants. Spending time among greenery and nurturing nature can boost your mental health, help establish a routine and create social connections essential to our wellbeing. That’s why this month we’re supporting our friends at Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH), who have founded two community-driven initiatives in Dundee that use nature and the great outdoors to enhance mental wellbeing. Chrysalis and Growing Chrysalis help people build confidence, skills and connections through gardening and outdoor activities, arming participants with horticultural knowledge, essential life skills and personal resilience.
Throughout June, we’ll be supporting SAMH and the work of the Chrysalis groups by donating £1 for every sale of our Penny the Chinese Money Plant.
About Scottish Action for Mental Health
SAMH was founded in 1923 with a mission to improve the conditions and treatment of people with mental health problems. Today the charity operates more than 70 services across Scotland, providing support and employment services to those struggling with their mental health, homelessness and addiction.
Through Chrysalis and Growing Chrysalis, SAMH provides therapeutic horticultural services that aid mental health recovery, providing essential skills, social connection and confidence to those who need it most.

Throughout June, we’ll be donating £1 for the sale of our two Penny plants. This low-maintenance Chinese Money plant has been given the nickname ‘Pass It On plant’ because it’s so easy to propagate.
