About Ivy

Ivy is another classic addition to an English garden, and a perfect one for novice gardeners, due to her low-maintenance and unfussy character. Enjoy her most during Spring when her fresh growth adds a brighter shade of green to her mass.

Ivy comes in a 13cm pot and trails for about 20-30cm. She'll grow by roughly 20cm per year, unless cut back.

Ivy is happy in both the brightest light and the deepest shade, and both alkaline and acidic soils. She's kind of great like that.

Ivy dislikes being eaten, which would cause severe discomfort - more for you but also her.

Looking after this plant

Plant Ivy up with any type of compost or soil - just make sure she's not planted in a bog or similar. Cut her back at will in the Winter.

Living with pets and children

To repeat - Ivy is highly toxic if eaten.
