About Connie

Connie likes to blow her own trumpet or, rather, trumpets, dozens of which appear between Spring and Summer. Mediterranean in origin, she prefers lots of sunlight and can tolerate occasional neglect - drought won't phase her.

Connie arrives about 30cm tall and wide - she's a shrub in almost equal proportion - and will grow at a very slow rate, reaching a maximum height of a metre after 5-10 years. Beautiful display of Funnel-shaped, pink-tinted white flowers arrive in April and remain much of the summer months.

As close to a mediterranean climate as possible. Failing that, be sure to pop her on the sunniest spot in your garden. Will benefit from good watering during the spring and summer months.

The wind. Keep her sheltered if high up.
