Chrysanthemum's are a classic. They've been grown for over 2,000 years for their big rosette-like flowers, which provide colour into the early autumn months.
She will die back in the winter, so you may want to prune her back at this point, but will rise again in the spring, ready to bloom all over again.
Christie the Chrysanthemum likes...
Put her somewhere that she'll get a lot of light, but not too much harsh direct sun.
Protection from cold
Chrysanthemums don't like a very harsh winter, so consider moving her somewhere warmer if it gets very cold.
Water her when the top inch or so of soil is dry. She'll take more water in the growing period to produce all those flowers.
When your plant has finished flowering for the year, cut back the main stem to about 20cm so it can start conserving energy for next year's growth.
